I work remotely in IT within higher education, which allows me to live in Florida—right where my passion for cruising thrives. Originally from Mississippi, I moved closer to the ocean to fully embrace the cruise lifestyle I love.
As part of Vacay Happens, I help share real travel experiences, cruise insights, and destination inspiration to help others plan unforgettable vacations. I’m always chasing new destinations, stunning sunsets, and peaceful moments watching the ocean go by.
My favorite cruise ports are St. Thomas, St. Marten and Curacao, while my most memorable land adventure was Iceland—exploring its waterfalls, beaches, and iconic landmarks. Þingvellir National Park remains my favorite place I’ve ever visited.

My favorite cruise ports are St. Thomas, Curacao and Cozumel, and one of my favorite land vacations was Iceland. Visiting Gullfoss was especially unforgettable—the views were absolutely amazing.
